FasterCures congratulates Christopher P. Austin, who was just named director of the newly formed the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS).
"The medical research ecosystem stands to benefit from having Chris at the helm of this important center at the National Institutes of Health," said Margaret Anderson, executive director of FasterCures and a member of the NCATS Advisory Council. "His depth and breadth of experience and expertise will be invaluable."
Anderson and FasterCures have been strong supporters of the establishment of NCATS and its goal of saving time and effort in the pursuit and conduct of medical research and development across disease areas.
