From 1977 to 1990 Mr. Black worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, where he served as managing director, head of the mergers & acquisitions group and co-head of the corporate finance department.
Mr. Black is a director of United Rentals, Inc., Allied Waste Industries, Inc., and Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.
Mr. Black is a trustee of Dartmouth College, The Museum of Modern Art, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Prep for Prep, and The Asia Society. He is also a member of The Council on Foreign Relations, The Partnership for New York City, and the National Advisory Board of JPMorganChase.
Mr. Black graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1973 with a major in philosophy and history and received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1975.
