Kate Blenner
Kate Blenner joined FasterCures in 2008 as a Program Analyst with efforts focused on BioBank Central and the Philanthropy Advisory Service. Kate was previously a Program Director at The National Quality Forum, where she worked on programs to achieve stakeholder consensus on healthcare quality improvement and measurement initiatives. Kate's work at the National Quality Forum included projects addressing patient safety, healthcare-associated infections, long-term care, and health information technology.
Prior to her position at The National Quality Forum, Kate was a Consultant at Signia Partners, Inc. (now Guideline), providing strategic intelligence research for corporate pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, and a Research Associate at Human Genome Sciences, Inc., performing laboratory research in the Department of Preclinical Development. Kate holds a degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Michigan State University.
