Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations

FasterCures, a Washington, D.C.-based Center of the Milken Institute, is driven by a singular goal – to save lives by speeding up and improving the medical research system. As a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank, FasterCures is uniquely positioned to receive input from all stakeholders and make informed, autonomous decisions when prioritizing program and project initiatives.

The Associate Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations, based in Washington, D.C., will work closely with FasterCures’ program staff and business development colleagues at the Milken Institute to foster productive relationships with strategic partners to expand our network, reach, resources, and social impact.

Sponsorship for the Institute’s events and programming activities generate the majority of its revenue. Current and major sponsors of program activities include the Helmsley Charitable Trust and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. FasterCures’ flagship event is Partnering for Cures. Since 2009, Partnering for Cures has been the go-to meeting for accelerating patient-centered solutions and creating meaningful collaborations, convening representatives from nonprofit organizations, life science companies, academia, government, financial institutions, and philanthropy. As one of eight centers at the Milken Institute, FasterCures also plays a major role in the Milken Institute’s annual Global Conference, which brings together 3,500 leaders from diverse sectors of the global economy, including more than 700 speakers. Summits held in London, Singapore, and Washington, D.C. provide other sponsorship opportunities to FasterCures and Institute supporters.
